The Big Bang Theory and TMNT Shocking Connection- Click to know

The Big Bang Theory Updates: What’s more, The Big Bang Theory and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may not seem like they have much in common, but they have an amazing connection beyond Sheldon Cooper’s love for Turtles.

Big Bang Theory show host Chuck Lorre has written a theme song for TMNT, meaning that the franchise scene in the show is Easter eggs.

Lorre co-wrote the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles song with the 1987 cartoon with composer Dennis Challen Brown. In a 2012 interview for American TV Archive, Lorre said he actively sought opportunities to write poetry and music when his career began in the early 80s. He set his eyes on TMNT and “begged and begged” to perform his song, but the pop Turtles group (“Happy Together”) was busy at the time.

What is The Big Bang Theory and TMNT Connection

At the last minute, the Tortoise had to be granted bail, and TMNT called Lorre for an emergency assignment: Create a total of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 48 hours.

To begin their creative process and write something that has taken the essence of the program, Lorre and Brown read TMNT’s comic books for inspiration.

They worked and co-wrote catchy songs, “heroes with half a shell – the power of a turtle,” but they had only $ 2,000 to record a demo. They booked a recording studio in Los Angeles from midnight to 8 am, as those are the cheapest hours you can buy.

Hard work and hard writing got it – they create a heavy theme in many of the body’s TMNT implants and it remains a popular classic.

The Big Bang Theory even referred to this particular TMNT song in Season 6, Episode 10, “The Fish Guts Displacement.” Sheldon begins the episode by listing his favorite theme songs, a fact that includes the 1987 TMNT theme. He sings the beginning of a theme song, with his friends Leonard, Howard, and Raj singing “Turtle Power!” in the end.

Sheldon publicly with TMNT was not in the mood, and it did not seem very important at the time. However, the event is a big Easter egg, as Lorre wrote the theme song and played it as a show for The Big Bang Theory.
