The Witcher Season 2: First look at Anya Chalotera as Yennefer

As per Republic TV, In the previous unforgettable episode of The Battle of Soden Hill we witnessed Yennefer unleashing her fire and burning most of the Nilfgaardian troops to crisps but as it’s rightly said ‘as you reap you sow’ she seems to be paying for her actions with her bloodied face and bound hands.

In Season 1 we witnessed Yennefer with many lovers but still living an unfulfilled life in a span of about 70 years. While talking to IGN, the showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich revealed that she wanted the character to deal with all the “measy stuff” before her ultimate transformation.

Talking of the second season, fans are unable to contain the excitement of witnessing all the characters in the “same timeline” unlike it’s previous “multi- timeline format.” There is also a possibility that Yennefer’s storyline will intersect with Geralt’s and Ciri’s.

The daily teasers of The Witcher Season 2 by Netflix already have the fans on their toes when it comes to Geralt and Ciri’s adventures. Henry Cavill’s Geralt is all suited up in his new Armour and Freya Allan’s Ciri is ready for combat in their individual character photos.

Luckily, the filming of the highly awaited Season 2 of The Witcher resumed in August after a five-month production shutdown due to the inevitable pandemic.

This is not all, Netflix is also working on The Witcher: Blood Origin and The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. We will surely keep you posted about any new update that comes our way.
