We Were the Lucky Ones Official Trailer Is Out to Watch Now!

Hulu has released its first official trailer of We Were the Lucky Ones, a WWII drama starring Joey King & Logan Lerman.

The television series is based on Georgia Hunter’s New York Times Bestselling novel of the same name, which evolved from her wish to share the true tale of her family after finding at the age of 15 that she had roots in Holocaust survivors. Erica Lipez, who previously appeared on The Morning Show and Julia, is behind the adaptation.

We Were the Lucky Ones Trailer: Logan Lerman and Joey King Lead Hulu’s WWII Drama.

The show recently released a trailer as an enticing way to wrap up the day on Chocolate Day. With a short yet comprehensive overview of the show’s idea, it is intended to follow the novel while remaining closely loyal to its vision.

The trailer begins with a Jewish family celebrating a member’s journey to Paris and planning for future adventures when World War II abruptly shatters their life. The tension builds as the trailer depicts the lives of numerous Kurc family members, each struggling tirelessly to live and reconcile with one another, no matter what it takes.

Though nothing is known about the fate of all the family members, except by fans of the original novel, the trailer depicts multiple near-tearjerker scenes in which the young people survive hunger, torture, ghettos, and other horrors. Nonetheless, the trailer maintains its positive tone and radiates a sense of faith, love, & unflinching belief.

In a time when phones were not invented and Europe was fractured and war-torn, the actual story of a family reuniting against all obstacles amidst mass Jewish killings is highly uplifting and heartfelt.

We Were The Lucky Ones seems to be an intriguing true-life war drama, particularly for fans who enjoy dramatic and tear-jerking true-life survival stories.
