While the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro features a separate running app and over 100 exercises to track, its statistics are relatively basic and will stay within its rivals.
The watch has a sophisticated appearance, with a choice of a black rubber strap or brown leather & a sapphire pane watch face with a 1.47″ AMOLED screen – it’s sparkling with colorful apps that are clear and easy to manage. It is, nevertheless, a large watch, with the watch face sticking out on the wrist.
Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro Design and Display
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro’s design isn’t very noteworthy, but it looks the part. Xiaomi has chosen the classic combination of stainless steel and glass, making it seem more premium and costly.
However, just one size is available: 46mm. That fits most of us. However, seeing less of a size for persons with smaller wrists would be fantastic.
It’s also thick at 11.28mm. Nonetheless, Xiaomi did an excellent job with the design. The Watch S1 Pro finds a good mix between durability and aesthetics, albeit the latter varies according to the model.
The rubber band is incredibly comfortable, making it an excellent choice for water sports and daily use. It’s held in place by tucking the tip under the strap’s edge, eliminating the need for a second fixed loop.
The screen’s quality, 1.47″ AMOLED, is one of its most remarkable qualities, effortlessly gliding between apps and functions. It’s a vibrant display that appears more appealing than some of its competitors’ products.
The primary contact with the gadget is by touch, although there are also two physical controllers.
Clicking the crown on the right side gives you access to all your applications, while rotating gives you another method to sort through them.

Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro was first introduced in China in August 2022. However, it was officially shipped worldwide in February 2023.
With pricing starting at $330 in the US, it looks and feels nice, but it only provides a little value if you’re a die-hard Xiaomi enthusiast.

Features
Setting up the Mi Fitness app with the S1 Pro takes a few minutes. The installation procedure guides you through several features, including the ability to sync your device and set personal goals ranging from the number of calories you want to burn when exercising to the number of steps you want to take each day.
In addition to providing data on the watch, you can access workout specifics via the app, with the app analyzing your exercise over the week: showing your calories, steps, and moving time in a colorful rainbow pattern.
One feature that piqued your interest is the Alexa connection, which lets you communicate with the virtual assistant with a simple right flick on the main watch display. Once linked to your Amazon account, it can react to all your standard Alexa requests (including smart home controls).
However, the feature needs to be more developed. This is because it can only answer your voice with text rather than speaking to you as a smart speaker or smartphone would.
While certain features, such as the alarm, torch, compass, and air pressure sensor, can operate independently, most require a connection to your phone through the Mi Fitness app.

Performance
At the very least, the watch is simple to use daily. If you have an Android 6.0 or above or an iOS 11 or higher, you can use the home screen to sync your calendar, contactless cards, and music.
After a few treks, the app will thoroughly analyze your cardio output, including speed, cadence, and elevation. However, more information or breakdown is needed on these parameters. It boasts a 14-day battery life, but you’ll only get about a week if you use it frequently.
Remember to bring your charger if you’re going on vacation. Conversely, charging is rapid, and only 10 minutes will give you two days.

Verdict
An elegant smartwatch with a crystal clear color display & easy-to-navigate buttons & touchscreen – however, the size of its watch face and weight let the design down. As a fitness tracker, it provides essential information for over 100 workouts via the watch and its accompanying app.
Still, it has to go further to compete with other top models, especially in its price range.
