The OnePlus 12 is an exciting update to the OnePlus 11. Although the OnePlus 11 has only been on the market for a few months, given the company’s slogan of “Never Settle,” it shouldn’t surprise that rumors about its successor are already circulating.
A massive OnePlus 12 specifications leak has disclosed a few features we expected and some major improvements to the phone’s cameras and battery life. Here’s everything we know right now about the OnePlus 12.
OnePlus 12 Design
The images show a design identical to the OnePlus 11 but featuring a few notable differences. The bezel around the display is slimmer on the front, and the punch-hole selfie lens has relocated from the screen’s corner to the middle.
More intriguingly, we observe a long periscope zoom lens on the camera island on the back, which fits with predictions that OnePlus will adopt this more advanced telephoto lens. Because of the extra area it takes up, the flash has been relocated from the main island to the top-left mount.
According to the report, the device would include a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Price and Availability
We have yet to determine when the OnePlus 12 will be released, but it’s likely to be in early 2024 since OnePlus often releases new flagships in the initial few months of the year.
According to an early OnePlus 12 release date leak, the OnePlus 12 would be introduced in China in December 2023, followed by a global debut in February 2024.
There is no word on pricing yet, but it will likely be similar to the OnePlus 11, which starts at $699. The latest phone has a lower pricing than previous models.

Camera and Battery Features
The OnePlus 12 will reportedly have a triple of rear sensors. These cameras will reportedly include 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide, and 64MP telephoto lenses with 3x optical zoom.
The 50MP ultrawide lens would be a resolution improvement from the 48MP sensor on the OnePlus 11, but the primary camera would remain unchanged. But it’s the telephoto lens that’s most noteworthy in this case.
OnePlus will reportedly include a 5,400 mAh battery in the OnePlus 12, surpassing the 5,000 mAh cell size featured in the OnePlus 11 and other premium Android phones.
We may anticipate 100W charging, similar to the OnePlus 11, and 50W wireless charging.

Specifications
According to a report, the OnePlus 12 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which will be an update to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip seen in most top Android phones this year.
As per the latest rumors, the upcoming device is expected to feature 16GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity alongside running on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14.
This phone is likely to be something other than commercially released, but these features may appear in a future smartphone, such as the OnePlus 12.
At the very least, OnePlus demonstrates that gaming and performance phones will remain a priority.
