iPhone 15 Launch Date Has Been Delayed.

A new production technique might be the source of the problem. While we’re gathering amazing iPhone 15 rumors ahead of the expected September launch, we came upon some news you might not enjoy.

According to a Bank of America analyst, the iPhone 15 will be released later this year. And, because of difficulties with the latest displays, finding one to buy may take more work than usual.

The iPhone 15 will be introduced towards the end of the fourth quarter, which begins October 1, reveals Wamsi Mohan, a global securities analyst at Bank of America.

According to Mohan, Apple’s typical supply chain inspections show that production is a “few weeks” behind the plan, and the launch might be pushed into the fourth quarter.

Take this observation with a grain of salt because Mohan doesn’t clarify why he feels there will be a delay; he only states that one will occur. However, these rumors may explain why the release may be delayed.

The iPhone 15 May Not Be Available Until October And May Be Difficult To Find.

According to reports, Apple is having manufacturing issues assembling the iPhone 15 Pro & Pro Max.

According to sources close to the case, the company’s “suppliers are using an innovative manufacturing process” to reduce the size of the bezel surrounding the display.

According to the report, this will enable the higher-end iPhone 15 models to have a larger screen while remaining the same size as prior smartphones.

LG Display is experiencing manufacturing difficulties, with screens failing in tests of durability when fused to the metal chassis of Pro models.

Apple is supposed to have altered the design of LG panels to withstand the reliability test, and it is thought to have Samsung-made screens available for assembly.

These vulnerabilities might result in scarcity at launch. According to reports, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the series’ most expensive model, will be the most affected.

Will Apple Postpone the iPhone Event or Shipment?

It also needs to be clarified whether Apple would postpone the iPhone event, which is scheduled for early September, or only the ship date.

Apple typically sends the new iPhone a week and a half after the launch, although delays are expected.

Although Apple has a tradition of releasing new iPhone models in September, the iPhone X and iPhone XR were launched in September but hit shelves in October.

According to prior rumors, the iPhone 15 series, which includes the iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max models, would be released in September.

Instead of delaying the debut, Apple will create fewer high-end models. The issue is reported to be “more evident with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, suggesting that there will be more serious shortages for that model than for the iPhone 15 Pro.”

Regarding the basic iPhone 15, everything was going swimmingly. We haven’t heard anything concerning manufacturing concerns with the standard model.

The silver lining in this is that it will be brief even if there is a delay. The same issue happened in 2020 with the iPhone 12, which was delayed by a few weeks owing to global supply shortages. We’ve all been in this situation before. We only need to be patient.
