Jon Snow Spinoff Is Currently Under Development.

Martin said that Snow is the show’s current working title. Martin posted about John Snow development on his blog.

Jon Snow would be followed after the events of the Game of Thrones season finale when he was banished to the Night’s Watch as part of a political settlement after killing Daenerys Targaryen.

So naturally, since the news broke, questions have poured in for George R.R. Martin, the author of A Song of Ice and Fire, who played Jon Snow for the whole eight seasons of the original program.

He has now produced a blog post about the subject, adding a few new facts and verifying some information we previously knew.

Snow learned in the last season that his name was Aegon Targaryen and that he may be the next in line to the Iron Throne. But in the end, he was banished from Westeros and traveled with the Wildlings north of the Wall. All surviving characters may appear in the next series as it is set after the events of Game of Thrones.

Everything that surrounds the Game of Thrones plot is highly thrilling. Many members of the main cast of a fantastic program like John Snow have the potential to return, and it would make perfect sense to see them reprise their roles as the spinoff stars from the Game of Thrones.

George RR Martin affirms that seeing old, well-known characters will be interesting. Also eager to return is Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth. Fans are immensely fond of Brienne of Tarth and would seize any chance to see her again.

The actor who portrayed Samwell Tarley, a friend of Jon Snow, John Bradley, also wants to be part.

However, one previous cast member has left the show: Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke does not plan on returning to the role of John Snow since she wants to move forward with finding new parts for her acting career.

While Martin provided plenty of good news for Game of Thrones fans, he also made it plain that these projects had yet to receive the green light and that there was no certainty that any of them would broadcast.

The scripts for all four of these successor series are currently being written. The first, second, and third draughts of screenplays and the authorized outlining and treatment have all been reported.

Kit Harington approached HBO with the concept for the Jon Snow program.

Martin revealed that the idea for the program was presented to them by actor Kit Harrington, who also brought his crew for the production.

In a recent interview, Emilia Clarke stated that Kit came up with the concept for Snow. Therefore, that portion is eliminated. Martin confirmed that Kit Harington had presented the idea to us. He said that he had contributed to the creation of these presentations.

Martin is not the showrunner on any of these projects, just to put your mind at ease in case you were worried that this was keeping him from finishing The Winds of Winter, the much anticipated sixth book in his novel series. It sounds like he’s creating screenplays, too, once we hear differently.
