American Idol is finally back in Hollywood. According to the 23 April episode, there were 33 million votes that were given to the top 20 contestants from all around the world.
And talking about the contestants who made it to the top 20 then the first one was Zachariah Smith.
Before getting into the performance, Smith revealed about his Mississippi hometown that got badly destroyed by the tornado. Soon, he entered into the performance with I Want To Know What Love Is.
Matt Wilson was the next contestant who made it to the top 20. He also performed a great song called Say You Won’t Let Go by James Arthur which got appreciated by Luke Bryan.
He said it was a great song choice for the day and the attitude was also great according to the words and the tone.
Nailyah Serenity was another hope that formed an amazing song called Baby Love. This song was loved by the judges when Katy Perry was seen making points to the note and at the same time, other judges also appreciated it.
Katy Perry said that she is an artist who is growing through time and that is what going to separate her.
Warren Peay is another one entering the list. Before going to the performance with a song called Up There Down Here, he talked about his battle with alcoholism.
Katy Perry liked the performance and called it an authentic form of the singer. While on the other hand, his song choice was considered to be world-class.
Mariah Faith is also one entering in top 20 lists. She came on the stage and started singing the song called Cry To Me.
Judges loved this song which was totally a soulful country life-giving to the episode. Lionel called it an old song but at the same time, the presentation was a total of a new school.
