Katy asked if anyone would like to sing along with Fire and that is when 18-year-old Jayna Elise decided to join him for the performance.

When both Fire and 23-year-old Kaya Stewart went on the stage to perform for their duet performance, Kaya said the following words that hinted towards her exit from the show –
“I have a little announcement to make. I got sick at the beginning of Hollywood Week and I have been trying to push myself and keep going.
During this performance, I got to work with Fire and it was such a great experience.” All three judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan were pretty shocked by the announcement made by Kaya.
When Katy asked whether Kaya will be performing further in the competition, she said –
“Yes. So me not performing today means I’m no longer going to be in the competition.”
