Frank Grillo is now officially a part of the DC Extended Universe after acting for a long time in MCU’s Captain America.

According to him, he was very disappointed with how MCU used his character in the Captain America realm of movies. And that is why, the actor came to the decision of going with DCEU.

In an interview with Geektyrant, the actor explained the whole scenario in his words –

“They never told a story [about Crossbones]. The mythology of the MCU and just what Marvel has in its pool of characters, it’s so deep. Crossbones was there for a minute, but he was supposed to be there longer, then they went in the direction they did.

He continued, “I think Crossbones serves a purpose, but I think the interesting thing is that if you see how many people around the world have responded to Crossbones, and again.”
