Extraction 2 Release Date
Announcement of a release date. Chris Hemsworth indicated on his Instagram account that the filming for the second installment of Extraction was in November 2021.
Production was supposed to start in September 2021 in Australia, but it was ultimately relocated to Prague in the Czech Republic due to time constraints.
According to reports, the move was made due to the situation with COVID-19 in Australia as well as fears about prospective shutdowns. Sam Hargrave had also previously disclosed to Collider that Extraction 2 was scheduled to begin filming in the fall of 2021.
In November 2021, production on Extraction 2 got underway in Prague, and not long after that, Hemsworth uploaded a video from the set.
The movie’s actor, who played Thor, finished filming in March 2022, and the overall production, which had taken five months, came to a close in April.

In September of the year 2021, during their Tudum event, Netflix revealed a teaser trailer for the series “Extraction 2,” which you can view below.
Rake’s tragic moments are recapped in the opening sequence of the video, including how he was shot and fell into a river. Rake eventually begins to swim to the surface and opens his eyes, defying all odds.
Netflix debuted the actual first teaser trailer for Extraction 2 on April 3, 2023. While the two-minute trailer doesn’t provide any plot details, it does show that Tyler Rake, who was declared clinically dead before “fighting his way back,” did, in fact, survive the events of the previous movie.
The battle scene in the teaser, in which Rake defeats armed guards during some sort of prison uprising while holding a burning fist, is also amazing.
