Hongseok

“Hello.

This is Cube Entertainment.

Hongseok, a PENTAGON member, was medically released from the military and placed in the Wartime Labor Service.

Since he has had agoraphobia and symptoms of panic disorder and depression for some time, Hongseok has been undergoing ongoing treatment and counseling throughout his military service.

The military, however, determined that it was impossible for him to continue military life and receive therapy at the same time as his symptoms grew worse, so he was medically dismissed.

We apologize for generating worry with the unexpected news, and we’ll keep working hard to help Hongseok concentrate on getting better.

Thank you.”

According to the statement, the actor was suffering from depression and panic disorder for a very long time and the treatment was going on.

As a result of his psychological issues and their treatment, it was almost impossible for the actor to continue his military enlistment, henceforth, he had to get discharged from the military services in order to take his treatment smoothly.

The singer made his acting debut in the Korean movie, ‘The Love That’s Left.’ In March 20119, the singer starred in his first web drama titled ‘On The Campus.’ The actor became the cover model for the issue of Men’s Health’s Korea in July 2019.
