Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series whose author and illustrator is Tatsuki Fujimoto. From December 2018 to December 2020, its first part was serialized in Shueisha’s shunen manga magazine Weekly Shunen Jump.
In July 2022, its second part started serialization in Shueisha’s online magazine Shunen Jump+. By October 2022, its chapters had been compiled into 12 tank-bon volumes.
The plot of Chainsaw Man centers on Denji, a poor young man who enters into a deal to have his body fused with that of a canine devil named Pochita, giving him the power to turn specific body parts into chainsaws.
Denji eventually joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters, an organization run by the government that works to exterminate demons whenever they pose a threat to human safety. The Japanese manga series, Chainsaw Man now has been adapted into an anime and is being broadcast on Crunchyroll.
The first episode of the anime debuted on October 11 on Crunchyroll. In the first episode of the anime the loving characters Pochita, Denji, and Makima were introduced to viewers.

The first episode focuses a lot on a younger Denji before he racked up a tonne of debt, and then a more jaded and worn-out Denji, who has been forced to sell off parts of himself to survive and puts himself in danger constantly by pursuing the world’s bad demons.
Denji and Pochita are obviously symbiotically connected because they only have one another for companionship.
Denji is exposed to working for the Yakuza, essentially for pennies, and hunting devils. Despite his abhorrent poverty, he longs for a better existence for Pochita as well as himself, including a girlfriend with whom he may share his life.
The second episode of the anime is titled “Arrival in Tokyo.” The Zombie Devil’s entire army is then wiped out when Denji leaps out of the trash can. A carnage ensued. Denji lost his composure and attacked everyone.
But after receiving a hug from Makima, our soon-to-be-loved protagonist ultimately reverts to his human form. Denji now walks on the streets of Tokyo with new fancy clothes on. There he meets Power and Aki Hayakawa.
