Tatsuki Fujimoto is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series “Chainsaw Man.” Its first installment ran in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020, and its second installment started running in Shueisha’s online magazine Shonen Jump+ in July 2022. As of October 2022, its chapters have been compiled into 12 tank-bon volumes.
On Tuesday, Chainsaw Man made its anime premiere, and it did it with a banging opening video that has amassed over 14 million views on Twitter and YouTube.
The song “KICK BACK” by Kenshi Yonezu, which was co-arranged by King Gnu and Daiki Tsuneta, is used in the video. It was directed and storyboarded by Shingo Yamashita, with Kazutaka Sugiyama serving as the principal animator and Riki Matsuura and Souta Yamazaki as the other animators.
The plot of Chainsaw Man centers on Denji, a poor young man who enters into a deal to have his body fused with that of a canine devil named Pochita, giving him the power to change specific body parts into chainsaws.
Denji eventually joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government organization dedicated to combating demons whenever they pose a threat to the planet.

Chainsaw Man Episode 2 Release Date and Recap
Chainsaw Man episode 1 has finally been released after being eagerly anticipated for a very long time. The episode debuted on Crunchyroll on Tuesday, October 11 at 12 PM EDT.
The episode, with the excellent MAPPA Studios at the helm, truly lives up to the expectations in practically every aspect possible. The loving Pochita, Denji, and Makima were introduced to viewers in the anime’s first episode.
On Tuesday, October 18, Chainsaw Man Episode 2 will be made available in the US. On October 19 at twelve in the morning JST, the episode will show in Japan. The series is being streamed on Crunchyroll.
An hour after the episode is broadcast in Japan, it will be available with English subtitles. There will be a formal introduction of two significant characters in Chainsaw Man episode 2.
Fans of the series will surely want to watch this episode because both of these characters—who were either not present in the first episode or were not named—play significant roles in the remaining storylines. Beyond this, viewers will probably witness Denji’s introduction to what his life will be like as a Public Safety Devil Hunter.
