Teen Wolf Update: It’s time to reassemble the pack! Teen Wolf’s characters will return for a resurrection film four years after the show’s last episode aired on MTV.
Despite the fact that it took a few years, creator Jeff Davis has had intentions to return to the Teen Wolf world since the show’s 2017 end.
“That was really detailed. We didn’t want a conclusion that proclaimed “the end.” We wanted it to be a ‘and the adventure continues…’ kind of thing. “I enjoy envisioning that they’re heading out to continue the war,” Davis remarked in September 2017 to Entertainment Weekly about his decision not to finish up every detail. “I didn’t want to see them all have children and be happy and at home in the end.” That seemed a little flat to me.”
The film begins up after the season finale of the 2011-2017 television series, in which Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his pals completed their goal to preserve Beacon Hills.
“A full moon rises in Beacon Hills, bringing with it a dreadful evil.” “The wolves are howling once again, demanding the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night,” according to the film’s press release.
“However, only a Werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer an adolescent but still an Alpha, can rally new allies and rejoin loyal friends to fight back against what may be the most powerful and deadly opponent they’ve ever faced.”
Posey, who has long advocated for the revival of Teen Wolf, indicated that he was “eager to portray this role again” a few years after the finale’s events.
“I suppose what I’m most looking forward to is seeing them grow older.” “We felt like we were in high school for ten years,” the Scream: Resurrection alum joked to EW in October 2021. “I’m looking forward to seeing them mature and graduate from high school.” High school was such a character in the show, so I’m curious to see how it would be without that type of school element. It’ll be fascinating.”
The artist said that the MTV series was able to make such an effect on the viewers due of the individuals that accompanied them on each excursion.
“The interactions, particularly between my character and Dylan O’Brien’s character, Stiles, propelled the show.” That, to me, is what lifted the program and made people fall in love with it,” Posey said at the time. “On top of that, we got to have a lot of fun with the supernatural aspect, the romance element, and the terror.” I believe that as long as we have the aspect of a truly fantastic connection, whether it’s buddies or romantic, everything else comes into place.”
