Bae Suzy Is All Set to Make a Comeback with New Album.

The South Korean singer, actress, and model Bae Su-ji are best known by her stage name Bae Suzy. She was a part of JYP Entertainment’s girl group Miss A. She made her acting debut in the 2011 television series Dream High and has since been in shows including Gu Family Book (2013), Uncontrollably Fond (2016), While You Were Sleeping (2017), Vagabond (2019), Start-Up (2020), and Anna (2022).

In Architecture 101, she made her acting debut (2012). She has been referred to as “The Nation’s First Love” in her native nation since her blockbuster cinematic debut.

Bae Suzy made the formal announcement that she would be releasing a new digital single later this week on October 3. The former idol-turned-actress will release the brand-new song “Cape,” for which she directly co-wrote the melody and lyrics, on October 6 at 6:00 PM KST.

Apart from her agency, the South Korean singer, Suzy personally made the announcement by posting it on her Instagram account. “Cape” has been characterized as a dreamy tune with a folk feel and lyrical melody that has a different vibe from the other tracks Suzy has put out so far.

The singer-songwriter is reportedly making a comeback seven months after the release of “Satellite,” for which she composed the lyrics, on February 17, according to her management firm Management Soop.

Additionally, the new song is the performer’s second collaboration with producer and singer-songwriter Kang Hyun-min, who also contributed to “Satellite.”

Bae Suzy was the first female celebrity from Korea to receive a rookie award for a film, drama, song, or variety act. She won the Best New Actress prize for her work in Architecture 101 at the 48th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Bae’s wax replica at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong went on display in September 2016. She is the first well-known Korean woman to have a wax figure made of her at Madame Tussauds.

After her contract with JYP Entertainment expired on March 31, 2019, Bae departed the company. After that, she signed a contract with Management SOOP, an acting agency. At present, she is working under Management SOOP.
