The Girl Group Brand Reputation ranking for the month of September 2022 has been announced by the Korean Business Research Institute.
Black Pink
For the 4th time in a row, Blackpink holds the top rank in brand reputation ranking with an index of 6,257,886.
The rankings were established by using big data that was gathered between August 11 and September 11 to analyze the consumer involvement, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups.
The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also produced a score of 84.27 percent positive responses. PINK VENOM, BORN PINK, the much-anticipated return of the girl group took the center stage.
On August 8, they also posted their old pictures in order to celebrate their sixth anniversary. Blackpink has four girls which form the group: Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo.
IVE
IVE moved up to second place for the month of September after its brand reputation index impressively increased by 108.53 percent from the previous month.IVE’s score for this month was shown as 6,147,776.
The group made a comeback with the album “After Like ” which went viral with its release on August 22. It is one of the recent girl groups that has been formed. It has six members in total which includes: Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo.

Generation
The third rank is held up by the group Girls’ Generation with an index number of 5,719,516 and a 21.86 percent increase in their ranking from the last month.
The country’s girl group recently made a comeback with FOREVER1 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut. The group consists of eight members: Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun.
The groups ‘Twice’, ‘Oh My Girl, ‘New Jeans’, ‘Aespa’, ‘Red Velvet’, ‘Apink’ and ‘(G)I-DLE follow further in the list making their place in the top 10.
All the girl group bands from South Korea work under different entertainment companies. They were formed by different companies. Blackpink, which is one of the most famous K-pop bands, was formed by YG Entertainment.
They made their debut in August 2016 with their single album “Square One”. The girl group IVE was established by Starship Entertainment. The group made their first debut on December 1, 2021, with their album “Eleven.”
Girls’ Generation, formed by SM Entertainment has eight members at present. The group made their debut on August 5, 2007, with their single “Into The New World.”
