Commercially successful actor Will Smith who received Academy Award in 2022 Oscar, is also a renowned and accomplished rapper. He is known as The Fresh Prince on stage. Smith has garnered four Grammy Awards for his performance as a rapper.

As an actor, Smith, along with his Oscar, has also received a number of other nominations for prestigious Awards for his numerous roles.

He has been subjected to harsh criticism in the 2022 Oscar for slapping the Oscar presenter on stage which banned him from all Academy functions for ten years. He resigned subsequently from the Academy.
