The Tecno Spark 9T is scheduled to launch in India on July 28, according to a Chinese company that made the announcement on Tuesday via its official social media channel. The Tecno Spark 9T’s specifications are also being teased in advance of debut on an unique microsite on the Amazon India website.
According to the microsite, the Tecno Spark 9T’s Indian version includes a water-drop-style notch display and a triple back camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor at its centre. The MediaTek Helio G35 SoC will power the device.
The smartphone’s other standout features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 5,000mAh battery, and compatibility for 18W fast charging. The Tecno Spark 9T was presented by Tecno last month in a few international countries.

The Chinese retailer revealed the release date of the Spark 9T in a tweet on Twitter. This week, Amazon set up a specific landing page on its website to promote the availability of the Tecno Spark 9T in India. The smartphone’s price in India, however, is currently unknown.
Remember that the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage edition of the Tecno Spark 9T retails for NGN 78,300 (about Rs. 14,590) and was debuted in Nigeria in June. The Indian version is probably going to cost in the similar ballpark.
The pricing of the Tecno Spark 8T’s predecessor, the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage edition, was Rs. 8,999 when it was announced in India last year.
Tecno Spark 9T Specifications
According to the Amazon description, the Spark 9T would include a 6.6-inch full-HD display. The selfie camera will be housed in a notch with a waterdrop design on the display.
A MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with an octa-core configuration and 3GB of RAM will power the device. The additional built-in storage effectively allows the RAM to be increased to 7GB.
The triple back camera system on the Spark 9T will be led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor in terms of optics. It will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication, as was already mentioned.
The listing also implies that the future phone will have a 5,000mAh battery. The phone is rumoured to offer 18W rapid charging, which is said to enable battery filling from zero to fifty percent in less than an hour.
