Shadow and Bone Season 2 Updates: Eric Heisserer has developed the American fantasy series Shadow and Bone’ which is adapted from Leigh Bardugo’s created fictional universe of Grisha. In Grishaverse, each of the nations adapts real-world elements like language, tradition, and culture.

By other people, Grisha inhabitants are referred to as “magic users”. But they call themselves the practitioners of “The Small Science”. Here people’s individual gift leads them to manipulate matter at the “molecular level”.

The plot of the series revolves around a grisha named Alina Starkov who used to work as the assistant cartographer of the Royal Corps of Surveyors of the First Army. But everything changes when she discovers that she has the ability to control light, a rare ability.

Jessie Mei Li plays the role of Alina Starkov in the series. Other cast members include Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young, Ben Barnes, Zoë Wanamaker, Lewis Tan, Patrick Gibson, Anna Leong Brophy, Jack Wolfe, Daisy Head, Danielle Galligan, Calahan Skogman, etc.

The first season of the series premiered on April 23, 2021, on Netflix. The series got renewed in June of 2021 for a second season.
