Pistol season 1 is all set to release on Hulu on 31st May 2022. Itis a miniseries so this series will most probably have only one season.
The miniseries is about the legendary British rock band, The S*x Pistols, and their thrive in the mid 1970s. The show will revolve around the co-founder of the band, Steve Jones. He was named to be a “charming illiterate kleptomaniac” by the press releases at that time. This series will specifically examine the rise and the fall of the band.
The miniseries has been created by Craig Pearce. It was created to be broadcasted of Fx channel in the USA. The show consists of six episodes and is directed by the famous Danny Boyle, he has directed several award-winning films such as Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting and its sequels and others.
The show has been produced by Craig Pearce. Filming began in March and it was wrapped up pretty quickly for the series to be releasing two months later.

The series is loaded with extremely famous cast: Steve Jones will be played by Toby Wallace, Maisie Williams (Arya in Game of Thrones) will play Pamela Rooke and other supporting casts include Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Malcolm McLaren, Talulah Riley as Vivienne Westwood and Iris Law as Soo Catwoman.
The target audience for this series is estimated to be in the age group 30-40 apart from teenagers. The audience who might have followed S*x Pistols’ musical journey. All of the six episodes will be available from May 31st on Hulu.
The reviews have mostly been positive so far. The series has scored a 61/100 on metacritic, 80/100 on
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and Empire and 60 on Rolling Stones. The trailer of the series is out and available for viewers.
With this series, the creators and directors not only aim to give us a peek at the glamourous life of the Pistols but also gives those a chance to reminiscence for whom, pistols were their inspiration.
The reviews may have been mixed but one thing is for sure, for those who have followed The S*x Pistols and for those who are passionate about rick, this series will not disappoint you.
