Interceptor is on the list of Netflix’s impressive film lineup for 2022. Although, thus far the streaming site has quite some good-looking going on. And is expected to continue the momentum heading into Summer.
Interceptor Turn To Break Records
Directed by Matthew Reilly, the film is coming out this June and is an action drama. In addition, Netflix has finally officially released some new sets of images for the film.
According to reports, two members of the Hemsworth-Pataky household are all ready to have their original action thrillers on Netflix.
Back in 2020, “Extraction” staring Christ Hemsworth broke records with its release on Netflix. This year, it’s the turn of Elsa Pataky to deliver the thrills to the audience. The actress will be starring on Netflix for a new original movie called Interceptor. Which is based on the story of a military captain who is charged with stopping a nuclear disaster.
First Look Revealed Photos
Netflix on Wednesday officially revealed the first look for Interceptor. Where it showed off Pataky’s character in action. In addition, even sharing the official release date for the film. Interceptor is all set to hit Netflix around the globe on June 3rd.
In the eight images, you can see our two lead actors going against each other in the heat of battle. Though, we do have the images of the standard group shot of star Luke Bracey leading the charge. But all the others are mostly action-based shots of the star Elsa Pataky doing her stunts.
We even got a glimpse of Pataky in the middle of a knife fight or climbing up on a ladder with a wire rig. Some addition, shots also have her kicking someone into a table or of her pointing a gun toward someone off-camera.

“The tough and reality-bruised Captain JJ Collins (Elsa Pataky) discovers herself to be in charge of a lone nuclear missile. The interceptor base is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. This comes after, she is wrongfully thrashed out of her dream job at the Pentagon. Things get messy when a simultaneous coordinated attack threatens the base itself. Collins has no choice but to come face-to-face with the charismatic yet crooked Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey). Who is a former US military intelligence officer. In addition, his main objective is to carry out an unthinkable plan. With barely a few minutes on the clock, Collins must make use of her years of tactical training and military expertise. And determine who is trustworthy to stop Kessel and his covert mercenaries from completing their twisted and terrible mission.”
