The MCU has been able to develop and evolve at a rate and depth that it could not have done previously thanks to Disney+. However, among the apparently limitless number of proposals, there is one that stands out: an Avengers 5.
Despite the title, hardly anyone believes Endgame will be the final Avengers film. The squad always returns back and, more significantly, the franchise’s funds dynamo won’t be shut down indefinitely. So, what’s the next step? All indications point to a huge rendition of one of Marvel Comics’ most significant events: Avengers: Secret Wars.
What is Avengers: Secret Wars
The term was used for a number of stories, some of which are significantly different from the others. The first one, which took place in 1984, involves a cosmic creature known as The Beyonder teleporting Marvel’s greatest heroes and villains to a location called Battleworld, where they would face a battle against each other for the chance to fulfill all of their ambitions and wishes. Multiverse Madness

Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains has already been restraining his Variants from launching a new Multiversal war that threatens to wipe out the whole universe. So the next main Avengers movie is still in the works, many speculations have hinted at a Younger Avengers spin-off, that makes perfect sense considering the reintroduction of virtually the whole core squad in the previous year. In the comics, the gang has a slew of spinoffs, so it’ll only be a question of time until the MCU gets on board.
