The new series is set in hundred years after the plot of the original series. It features how the Viking Age embarks upon a course of ending owing to the Battle of Stamford Bridge of 1066.

Now he is an equal of the Imperial army who is sent to Germany to secure peace between Rome and the tribes. But when he witnesses the atrocities of the Roman soldiers and other oppression that the tribesmen are under, he becomes their new leader and unites all the tribes for massive resistance.
Laurence Rupp stars as Arminius with Jeanne Goursaud, David Schutter, Bernhard Schutz, Nicki von Temelhoff as some other cast members. The series was released on Netflix on October 23, 2020.
