It focuses on a twenty-year-old American woman named Emily who shifted to Paris when an amazing job opportunity comes on her way. She starts her work at a French marketing firm and along with that she tries to get her life in this new city.

But this romantic comedy show has been criticized for its stereotypical depiction of French and their culture. Some observers also pointed that show would advance if Emily’s character was somewhat different and relatable. But putting aside all the points, this show is a perfect escape from reality that has earned dedication from fan-following.

As the fans have given mixed responses, they will be waiting whether the show will return for the second season or not.

Season 1 arrived on October 2, 2020, on Netflix. It consists of ten episodes with each episode of 24-34 minutes. On November 11, 2020, Netflix recommissioned the show for another season.

As the series did not get the favorable response that he had hoped from his viewers, this show proved his success among the viewers. The cast will remain the same as all the main actors are returning for the second season. The actors are Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc, and Camille Razat as Camille.

The season will also features Kate Walsh as Madeline Wheeler, Arnaud Viard as Paul Brossard, Jean-Christophe Bouvet as Pierre Cadault and Charles Martins as Mathieu Cadault once again.

We will see in this season that how things shape up for Emily, Gabriel, and Camille. Emily will be making her romantic life and the storyline may explore a strange relationship.

The creator stated about the upcoming season that Emily will embrace Paris a little more. The upcoming season may also reveal the backstories of other characters. It will be interesting to see if Emily will travel to different places in Europe.
