The 78-year-old actor went out on a stroll on Friday in Mayfair, London where he was watching tennis at a pub. The actor was dressed casually in a navy jumper, grey trousers, and a black face mask. He spotted a khaki sling pointing towards his recent shoulder injury.
Harrison Ford who stars as the titular daredevil archeologist in the Indiana Jones franchise got injured during a choreographed fight scene in Indiana Jones 5. He will now be out of action while he recuperates. He won’t be able to return to the sets for at least three months.
This is not the first time the film has received a setback, it was initially supposed to release in July 2021 but the pandemic pushed it by another year. It is now set to release in July 2022. The fifth and final installment of Indiana Jones has been filming in the UK in recent weeks.

Ford is known for doing his own stunts on set as Spielberg confessed that he took on risky scenes such as the boulder run scene Raiders of the Lost Ark. This is not the first time the star has been injured on the set of a film. On the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Ford was crushed by the Millennium Falcon’s hydraulic door. The actor suffered a broken tibia and fibula, a dislocated ankle, and a cut hand in the incident.
The recent shoulder injury seems to be on the mend. A Disney source revealed that production will continue while Ford recuperates. The schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the upcoming weeks.
