The fans of Indiana Jones won’t get to see the final movie of the movie franchise just yet as the production of the film has come to a halt as the star of the film is recovering from an injury he suffered during filming.
An insider told The Sun that everyone thought that since it’s Ford’s last outing as Indiana, it would be smooth sailing, but the actor got injured and it is worse than first thought.
Disney confirmed in a statement that the 78-year-old actor hurt his shoulder while shooting a fight scene for the final movie of Indiana Jones, last week. The team initially suggested that this minor hiccup would not affect the production too badly, but the actor will be sidelined for at least three months as he must go through shoulder surgery.

An insider reported that the producers have come together to work out the scheduling in the midst of chaos. The insider added that the production won’t restart earlier than September. It comes as a blow to everyone as the incident was very unexpected.
This is not the first time that the movie has been delayed. Indiana Jones 5 was first slated to release on July 9, 2021, but was pushed to July 29, 2022, because of COVID-19. It is not confirmed yet if the latest bump in production would affect the release date.
However, there is one group that might not be upset over the temporary delay: residents of Hackney, East London, the film location. According to local reports, the residents say that the production was making their life very difficult. The production caused roadblocks, causing major headaches for the residents, reported the local news.
