The Teiko Junior High basketball team managed to win the junior high Nationals for three consecutive years. This made them popular everywhere and they were called the Generation of Miracles. However, the team also had a sixth man called the Phantom Sixth Man. This mysterious character, Tetsuya Kuroko-joins Seirin High as a freshman. The team of the school is powerful but is little known. Here, Tatsuya meets Taiga Kagami – a naturally talented player who spent most of middle school in the US with an aim to bring Seirin to the top of Japan. He also had a dream to take on all the Generation of Miracle players and defeat them one by one.
The anime revolves around both Tatsuya and Taiga and their efforts to take down every team on their way to take Seirin High to the Nationals. It shows their determination and hard work and how far they can go to achieve their dreams.
When is Kuroko’s Basketball Season 3 of the series coming to Netflix?
All three seasons of the show with 75 episodes in total were previously released on Crunchyroll only. Ever since its release Kuroko’s Basketball has been regarded as one of the greatest sports anime of all time. With the first season receiving a huge positive response from the viewers after it was released in January 2021 on Netflix, it’s almost certain that the second season too is coming to Netflix soon. According to What’s on Netflix, in their list of shows to come up on Netflix in the month of May; the second season of Kuroko’s Basketball will be out on Netflix by 15 May 2021.
