Good On Paper Updates: Netflix has now released it’s trailer for Good On Paper which is all set to release on June 23, 2021. The film is a romantic comedy drama about being unlucky in love and is written by Iliza Shlesinger who is both an actor and comedian. It is mostly based on a real story from her dating life.
Iliza Shlesinger will also be seen starring opposite to Ryan Hansen who is her love interest in the movie. Names of other cast includes that of Margaret Cho, Matt McGorry, Beth Dover, and Rebecca Rittenhouse.
Kimmy Gatewood has directed the movie and this will be her directorial debut and the movie will be distributed by Universal Pictures. The news of Iliza Shlesinger acting in the movie was announced in April 2020.
The trailer released on May 18, 2021 and starts with Cho giving complements to Shlesinger (she plays the role of Andrea) that she’s still unmarried and has a lot of goals to achieve. Andrea then encounters Dennis on a plane where he tells her that he has a career in hedge funds and is an ex-student of Yale.
When they both get into a relationship, Andrea suspects that Dennis is not the same as he presents himself to be. Even Andrea’s friend Margot is also not convinced about Dennis’s real identity and asks her to find out who he really is. Andrea teams up with her friends to make Dennis confess about his reality.

MPAA has rated the movie as R. It is expected to have a run-time of 92 min as mentioned by IMDb.
Shlesinger’s first stand-up comedy – Iliza Shlesinger: War Paint released on Netflix back in the year 2013 and after that this would be her fourth comedy special.
She also appeared in Spenser Confidential (2020 film) and in The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch show. On the basis of all of this we can say that she has a great equation with the streaming platform. Good On Paper is also expected to come on Netflix probably by this summer.
Rom-coms usually are thought to be boring but a movie in which the lead character’s boyfriend appears to be living a false life is a good concept. So, let’s see how this one turns out to be.
