Lupin Part 2 Updates: The French mystery thriller Lupin is back with a second season. Created by George Kay, François Uzan, the series debuted in January 2021 and has since gained a decent fanbase along with an IMDb rating of 7.6/10.

The show is a retelling of the classic French story about Arsène Lupin. It follows Assane Diop who is inspired by the world-famous thief and master of disguise Arsène Lupin. The series is divided into two parts consisting of a total of ten episodes.

Lupin Part 2: Release date

Part 1 of the show aired on the 8th of January this year with five episodes of the show and Netflix confirming a part 2 by the end of the same month.

Part 2 is not set to release with the next five episodes on the 11th of June, 2021, on Netflix.

Lupin Part 2: Cast

Omar Sy stars as the show’s lead Assane Diop. Joining him is Ludivine Sagnier as Claire, Assane’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, Etan Simon as their son Raoul, Fargass Assande as Assane’s late father Babakar, , Antoine Gouy Assane’s close friend Benjamin Ferel, Herve Pierre as Hubert Pellegrini, Clotilde Hesme as Hubert and Anne’s daughter Juliette Pellegrini, Vincent Garanger as the commissioner of the Paris police department Gabriel Dumont, Vincent Londez as Captain Romain Laugier, Shirine Boutella as Lieutenant Sofia Belkacem, and Soufiane Guerrab as Detective Youssef Guidera.

Netflix had released a teaser trailer on the 5th of March followed by an official trailer released on the 11th of May.

The official synopsis for the show reads as: “Assane’s quest for revenge against Hubert Pellegrini has torn his family to pieces. With his back to the wall, he now has to think of a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger.”
