The series is a 1930’s official period drama depends on the tiny stories of American writer or lawyer, Erle Stanley Gardner. The drama also stars John Lithgow and British actress, Juliet Rylance. Iron Man himself, Robert Downey, Jr., serves as a professional producer.
The series concentrates on the life and wrestles of Los Angeles defense lawyer, Perry Mason, who is engaged for a monumental court case in the rouse of the Great Depression.

HBO and Warner Media have gestured a threw-year agreement with Jack Amiel and Michael Begler of Cinemax’s The Knick, who will now join the writer’s place as showrunners for Perry Mason’s second season.
As per THR, Amiel and Begler will take charge because season 1 showrunners, Ron Fitzgerland and Rolin Jones have ‘chose to move on to other project’.
Because Amiel and Begler have past experiemce showrunning in early 20th century period Tv shows- The Knick (2014-2015) was concentrated on the lives of staff employee and patients at New York’s Knickerbocker Hospital in the early 1900’s, they are clear to expert in handling the surroundings already constructed by Fitzgerald and Jones in Perry Mason’s first season. In addition to, Amiel and Begler’s work on The Knick collected them a respected Peabody Award, so there is no doubt that the combo will continue their winning on Perry Mason.
With over 8 million Viewers in its first season, a star-spangled cast and two fresh voices in the writers’ room, Perry Mason is likely to see an expansion in viewership in season 2.
