It has been over 30 years since the last entry of Emilio Estevez and now he says that young guns II is in development.

In 1990, young gun II: Blaze of glory was released. Its focus was that of Billy the kid and how he managed to fake his own death.

But young guns II failed to succeed. It does not match the success of young guns I, which crossed over $45 million but its actual budget was $13 million.

After the failure of young guns II, there is no idea of how is the third part of young guns is going to be. But according to the collider, Estevez has revealed that young gun III is in development.

At this phase Estevez has confirmed that young guns III is on the way. He said :

“Yeah, it’s definitely in the works. I drive a lot and I spend a lot of time in the Midwest, and people will tell me, ‘We haven’t seen you on screen for a while.”

Estevez is currently busy in the process of his upcoming movies Mighty duck series and Mighty duck: game-changers that are set to release in Disney plus.

Typically most western movies do not attract a larger audience so Estevez’s upcoming movies may bring an impact to the film young guns III.

May Estevez’s upcoming series” Mighty ducks” which is going to be premiered on Disney plus become a hit. It would have an additional impact to built an interest in young guns III.

It is difficult that a sequel from a series that was last seen over thirty years to attract the current audience.

But young guns III could definitely attract a solid fan base of the series is worthwhile for Estevez.
