Top Boy Season 2 Updates: The Cameras are rolling on Top Boy’s second season of in Netflix. Ashley Walters and Kano revealed the shoot in a short video posted by Netflix and Twitter, as well as on Walters’ Instagram account.

Top Boy was originally supposed to film in the spring, but was postponed by the shutdown of coronavirus development, along with countless other shows.
That gritty urban drama is produced and written by Ronan Bennett, with development by Cowboy Films. In reality, the second season is the fourth season, considering the show first launched in 2011 on Channel 4 .

The first series was transmitted from 31st October to 3rd November 2011 over four consecutive nights on the Channel 4. On 22 July 2013, a DVD of the first the series was released.
The second series was started airing on Channel 4 on 20 August 2013. On 16 September 2013, a DVD release of the second series followed. While plots were suggested for a third series, Channel 4 dropped the series in 2014.
Following Canadian rapper Drake’s interest, it was revealed in November 2017 that Netflix would reboot the series and order a new season of ten episodes, with their roles being reprised by both Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson.
Series creator Bennett reunited with the original creative team to script most episodes; Drake, Adel Nur, Maverick Carter, and Jamal Henderson all joined the series a series Top Boy is a crime drama series on British television.
Created and written by Ronan Bennett, the series is set in the London Borough of Hackney, on the fictional Summerhouse farm.This drama brings viewers into east London’s housing estates.
