Adrienne Banfield-Norris: American actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who is usually soaked up in multiple activities hosts a talk show Red Table Talk produced by  Facebook jointly with the co-host, her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and her daughter Willow Smith.

Recently this “Gammy”,67, has been the center of media hype when she explained she “fought tooth and nail” to not have Olivia, the daughter of Lori Loughlin,56 and Mossimo Giannulli,57  to adorn the chair as a guest on the show.

Her noncompliance targetted towards having her on the show is not because of some beef with her nor has a history of one with her family but was concerned about her discussing college admission scandal that her parents are being put on trial for might prove to do the show some dirt.

“I just found it really ironic that she chose three black women to reach out to for her redemption story” she quoted.

She further broke it down as to how her presence around the table prompted her to reflect on it “I feel like her we are, white women coming to black women for support when we don’t get the same from them. It’s just bothersome to me on so many levels. Her being there is the epitome of privilege to me”.

That’s where her hesitation stemmed from, long-standing racial inequalities which she addressed as “It’s not our responsibility to raise her consciousness”.
