An official storyline released states:
The story is based on a cluster of nun residing in the Himalayan region who face hostile challenges to convert the old Himalayan palace into their convent.
The storyline of the movie is adapted from the best selling of the year 1934 by Rumer Godden.
The palace is also known as ” House of Women” hides many dark secrets. The haunting mystery of the monument awakens u forbidden desires that may repeat tragedy.
In the early days of British rule in India, a young nun Sister Clodagh leads a mission to a distant part of the Himalayas.
The palace of Mopu donated to the sisters by General Toda Rai, to get rid of his sister, Srimati’s sorrowful memories. Clodagh ignores the general’s agent Mr. Deans’s warning against the haunting atmosphere of the Palace; which soon lands them into trouble.
As the past and present coincide; the arrival of General Dilip Rai forms the catalyst for a reprisal of desires that may terminate in confrontation.

Famously known for “St. Trinian’s”, her explicit performance as Bond Girl Strawberry Fields in “Quantum of Solace” a Bond Film was commendable. This role earned her the Empire Awards for the Best Newcomer.

Alessandro Nivola as Mr. Dean
Nivola famous for nominated for Tony Award, a Critics Choices Award and an Independent Spirit Award, a British Film Award, and The Best Actor Award at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.
He has also acted in Face/Off, Jurassic Park III, and the prequel The Many Saints of Newark.
Aisling Franciosi as Sister Ruth
Known for playing Katie Benedetto in the RTE-BBC two felony drama TV series. She was seen in The Fall and as Kate Crawford in the TNT series Legends. She portrayed the famous Lyanna Stark in the sixth and the seventh season of Games of Throne.
The supporting Cast includes Diana Rigg as Mother Dorothea, Jim Broadbent as Father Roberts, Gina McKee as Sister Adela, Rosie Cavaliero as Sister Blanche, Karen Bryson as Sister Philippa, Charlie Maher as Con, Dipika Kunwar as Kanchi, and Gianni Gonsalves as Princess Srimati.
