The makers have decided to add Mackenzie Marsh, to portray the character, Val Ashton. Grey Anatomy’s latest addition Val is a jolly person with great humor and quite funny but is quite intelligent and lonely at the same time. She works in the publishing sector, but her contribution to the story is still under wraps.
Mostly it is medical issues that lead to the new character’s introductions in Grey’s Anatomy. The role of Val is going to recurring, so fans are going to witness Marsh a lot of times.
Well, it is still unclear if she is sick or suffering from any serious ailments, but one thing is for sure, she won’t die anytime soon.
Mackenzie Marsh: The Veteran actress

Eventually, she played the role in several shows like America Housewife by ABC, Jane the Virgin by CW, Will & Grace revival by NBC.
Mackenzie Marsh joins the series as the series movies into the next installment. The show lost one of its important star casts by the end of Season 16, Alex Karev.
Even the future of Richard Webber is at stake. The show shall return with a crossover of three hours which will dive into a month after the pandemic.

We have a piece of good news for all the fabs out there. The Grey’s Anatomy, Season 17 is returning on 12th November 2020 for the crossover event.
It will start with Station 19’s premiere of Season 4 at around 8 pm E.T. before premiering the initial two episodes of 17th Season at 9 pm and 10 pm E.T.
