Rick and Morty Season 5 Updates: The Adult Swim animated comedy Rick and Morty is back for another season. And we are waiting to see what is in store for us.

Rick and Morty: Beth Clone’s theory confirmed.

As we saw in the season 4 finale, Rick cloned Beth but also made sure that no one could tell them apart.
It was not much of a concern as the Rick and Morty team clearly said that the cloning was just a highlight of Rick’s commitment to freak nature and did not hamper the storyline of the show.

Co-producer Dan Harmon talks about Clone Beth storyline:

With the audience sure that they will get to see a Clone Beth in season 5 of Rick and Morty, they can’t help but wonder if they will get to witness a reunion of Space Beth and Clone Beth, or will they go their separate ways.

Dan Harmon while talking at PaleyFest NY in the Rick and Morty panel expressed his excitement at Beth having her own identity instead of being known by her relationship with Rick and Jerry. Je also gave a hint that Space Beth will make her own place in the story which leaves us wondering if she will be like a sister to Home Beth.

He also added that without spoiling much of the things the writers also may have thought of introducing aunts to Rick and Morty’s family as they have so many possibilities writing the script for a lot many seasons ahead.

Though a lot has been said about the Beth Clone storyline, it still can not be said with surety that Clone Beth will make a comeback in the upcoming season or the next.

While taking part in the discussion in Adult Swim Corn in July 2020, Harmon said that he was unsure but most probably season 5 can lack the Clone Beth storyline but season 6 has a lot in store regarding the same.

Rick and Morty Season 5: When will it come back on Adult Swim?

There has been no confirmation about the premiere date of Rick and Morty on the Adult Swim network but as per Harmon, the show is on schedule.

With season 5 and 6 being worked on at the same time, episodes will drop rather soon.
