He said that you are like an insect that moves in with Beth’s who had left her body. He also added that you live with a version of your daughter who had been died. The disclosure that Beth had died in his younger days to Rick has spiced up the character’s backstory.
As we don’t know about how exactly Beth died it is also not possible to say that how much it affected to Rick. The new twist is also revealing a lot which means that from where main Rick comes from Dimension C-137 is not the home of another character in the story including Morty.
It was to be believed that C-137 which was recognized as the Earth which gets affected by Cronenberg monsters in season 1. Rick and Morty as soon as possible leave their identical reality where they die. Now, it is also clear that Morty never belongs to C-137 and it also clears that Rick has been changing his dimensions and families multiple times.
The truth that resides is Rick continues to get attached with Beth and her family after knowing that his daughter is dead. It compliments Rick’s behavior that changed his attitude about maintaining familiar connections which also explains why it is so hard for doing so.
The phrase “abandoned adult Beths” from the Birdperson memory is also changing the twist of the story. Because this line suggest that Beth has been dead and Rick has been living with her. Rick was sure that he was admissible for his own daughter’s death which added circumstances to hate ourselves. It will be fun to see the progress is
