A few days back, Netflix has dropped the trailer of Selena. The giant streaming platform will start premiering the series from December 4th onwards. It will show us the growth of Selena from a local Texas singer-songwriter to the global heartthrob. Such an important role is going to be enacted by Christian Serratos, who is known for her notable contribution to Twilight. Let’s get to know about the other cast of the series.

Aforesaid, Christian Serratos, will take over the role of Selena. The trailer shows us Selena’s childhood where she is spotted playing all by herself. Fast forward to her teenage years, she is seen on the road with her family.
Apart from all these it also portrays how Selena fell in love at a much-unexpected place. Apart from the special mention of Twilight Saga, the 30-year-old American actress has also enlightened the Nickelodeon series Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. However, the role of young Selena will be taken up by Madison Taylor Baez.

Meanwhile, the role of Abraham Quintanilla Jr will be enacted by the 49-year-old actor Ricardo Chavira. A separate teaser was released which saw Abraham asking her about an important decision she has got to implement in her life. He inquired whether she trusts her father or not, to which she replied with an affirmation.

Tyler Posey’s bother Jesse Posey will be spotted as Chris Perez, the husband of Selena throughout the nine episodes of the series. Talking about the accomplishments of the actor made intrinsic contributions in Killer Party, Five North’s This Mess, and Stitchers. Earlier he had joined Selena’s band as a guitarist and had also broken up with his girlfriend from San Antonio, to persevere his romance with Selena.
