The Witcher Season 2 Updates: Adapted by book series with the same name, which was authored by Andrzej Sapkowski, Netflix series, the Witcher, which started its journey in the month of December 2019, follows, Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter who traverses a medieval-inspired world, fighting all creepy mythical creatures.
The 1st season of the series introduces the audience to Geralt, Ciri, a princess with magical powers, and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), a quarter-elf sorceress. The story continues, the completely different storylines, and how their fate is bound together.
Filming of the 2nd season of this series is still in the process, and the details of the coming episodes are slowly coming to light.
Season 2’s Plot
In the 2nd season, the viewers are taken to Kaer Morhen, which is a training ground for the witchers and also, Geralt’s childhood home. According to an official synopsis that Netflix has released, it makes fans a flavor of 2nd season, and what can be expected from the coming seasons.
Geralt of Rivia brings Cirilla to the safest place after Yennefer loses her life in the Battle of Sodden, so he brings Cirilla to Kaer Morhen, his childhood place.
He must keep girls safe from the intense wars, of the continent kings, elves, humans, and demons their hunger for the supremacy. And also he must save the girl from the mysterious power inside her.

The cast of the season 2 confirms that major cast will be back to the show includes, including Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allen, and also return of a number of characters, includes, Jaskier (Joey Batey), Cahir (Eamon Farren), Triss (Anna Shaffer) and Tissaia (MyAnna Buring).
And also, a new set of the cast includes Paul Bullion, Yasen Atour, and Joel Adrian.

The Witcher season 2 has resumed its filming, Netflix has officially confirmed that the season 2 crew started their work on the 17th of August, though due to the pandemic situations around, it was delayed, fans can expect this show to entertain them on screens in 2021, according to the Tech Radar reports, special effects company Platige Image is scheduled to turn in work on the series by 2021 July, which means, Witcher can return by August 2021.
