10. The Lost Daughter-
BBCThis is a psychological drama of 2021, directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Based on the novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante, this film follows a college professor on her vacation in Italy.
There she comes across a woman and her young daughter which makes her confront the unsettling past of her early motherhood. Starring in this movie is Dakota Johnson, Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, etc.
9. Queer Eye: Season 6-
This 2018 reality tv series had its sixth season premiered on the closing of the last year. It features the “Fab Five”: Food and wine expert Antoni Porowski, fashion expert Tan France, design expert Bobby Berk, culture expert Karamo Brown, grooming expert Jonathan Van Ness.
In this season like the previous ones of the series, the fav five spend a week applying this expertise to aid an individual in achieving a better and more satisfying life. The award-winning show is renowned for its representation of the LGBTQ community.
8. Cobra Kai: Season 1-
Den of GeekThis popular martial arts comedy-drama series started in 2018. It was a sequel to Robert Mark Jansen’s film ‘The Karate Kid’. ‘Cobra Kai’ takes us to the time when 34 years have passed after the events of the 1984 film. In the role of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, we get back Ralph Macchio and William Zabka.
From the point of view of Johnny, the series rekindles the rivalry between Daniel and Johnny and revolves around his decision to open the Cobra Kai karate dojo again.
7. The Witcher: Season 1-
Based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, this fantasy drama series is created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. The story explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter on the fictional land of ‘The Continent’. Henry Cavill stars as Geralt and Freya Allan aa Princess Ciri.

The New York TimesA sci-fi thriller directed by Mattson Tomlin and released in December. The plot story is about Georgia and her boyfriend Sam fleeing from the country as artificial intelligence threatens the world. Starring in this post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie is in the role of Georgia- Chloe Grace Moretz and in the role of Sam- Algee Smith.

A flight returns five after it vanished. Now the passengers have to rearrange their lives as they come back. But what’s that mysterious voice in their heads? A supernatural drama series of 2019, created by Jeff Rake and starring Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, J. R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, and many more.
4. The Witcher: Season 2-

Securing its place as the most popular movie of January 2022 ‘Don’t Look Up‘ has rendered viewers crazy about the film. Astronomy student Kate and her professor Dr. Mindy go on a media tour to convince everybody about an approaching comet that will ruin Earth.
Starring in the role of the student and professor are respectively the brilliant Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio. The remainder of the cast is also too bright to look at Timothee Chalamet, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Chris Evans, Ariana Grande, etc. From 3rd January to 9th January this film made 58,200,000 hours view for itself.
2. Stay Close: Limited Series-
IndieWireProduced by Red Production Company for Netflix this thriller mystery drama miniseries is based on the novel of the same name by Harlan Cohen. Three people- a suburban mother (played by Cush Jumbo), a homicide detective (played by James Nesbitt), and a photographer (played by Richard Armitage) find their lives upside down by a terrible event from the past.
Though this adaptation has been criticized for having various plot holes, that hasn’t stopped the series to become the second most-viewed show on Netflix in January with 91,180,000 hours of view.
1. Cobra Kai: Season 4-
The fourth season of ‘Cobra Kai‘ made a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the top place of Netflix’s global viewership chart within three days of premiering which was on 31st December of 2021. It still retains this place in January 2022 with a 107,810,000 hours view.
