A Discovery of Witches Season 3 Updates: The deadline has recently confirmed that the shooting of A Discovery of Witches has resumed.
The filming of the show was brought to a sudden halt due to COVID positive test which is why it is also delayed. On October 8, the makers of the show decided to pause the production of the show. Few of the crew members were affected and were self-isolating.
One of the spokespersons of Sky told that the production of the third season of A Discovery of Witches had to be stopped as the crew members were self-isolating. However, they have resumed the production process. They will be following all the required guidelines and safety measures.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that season 3 of A Discovery of Witches has to cancel and cease its production in the UK. An unnamed member of the crew has tested positive for COVID.

The news was brought to the audience by Jane Tranter. She broke this news in an event under the BFI London Film Festival. Further, it was also said that the production team has decided to take a break so that other tests could be carried out. Hence, she did not give a particular date for the shoot to resume.
For the people who don’t know, A Discovery of Witches is a British television show. The show is inspired by the All Souls trilogy created by Deborah Harkness.

The shooting of season 2 was wrapped by the production pre-pandemic. However, it is planned to release next year. Tranter also mentioned how it used to be a disaster to stop the shoot for a single day in pre-pandemic times.
However, now the company has possibilities in place. She also told how her company was able to finance the show. It was because they completed the shoot of other shows pre-pandemic. Hence, they are in a strong position.
