Never have I ever is based on Kaling’s childhood story, who grew up in the Boston region. The series is all about an American student who is pursuing high school studies and has to deals with her father’s death.

Is Never have I ever returning with the 2nd Season?
Well, yes, the series is returning for a sequel. On 1st July 2020, Netflix renewed the contract for a second run. Isn’t it amazing? Now that the series has a humongous fan base, so Netflix agreed to give the audience their favorite show back.
But, regarding the official release date, there are no such updates available yet. So, we expect the sequel to arrive somewhere in 2021.

The storyline of Never Have I Ever
The story traces the journey of Devi Vishwakumar, a 15-year-old kid of Sherman Oaks, California. After social sabotage in the freshman year, Devi wants to amp up her social status. But, her old life, friends, and family make it difficult for her.
But, all of a sudden, Devi’s dad, Mohan passes away, and She goes into trauma, losing her legs for three months. She then tries to deal with her trauma, along with her Indian identity, and troubling school life.
While she also is struggling with her strained relationship with her mother. With so much baggage, her life becomes quite suffocating. She has to manage her life and create a perfect balance between school, friends, and mother.
