The first-ever Netflix original Indian web series Sacred Games is the adaptation of the 2006 novel Sacred Games by Vikram Chandra. Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan directed the series along with the Vikramaditya Motwane. The first season, consisting of eight episodes, released on 5th July 2018 across 191 countries in the world. This statistic is enough to prove the craze of this Indian series. However, Sacred Games season 3 is very close to its release.
The plot
The storyline of this series revolves around a police officer Sartaj Singh. He has only 25 days to save Mumbai from Apocalypse. However, all the mystery begins with the death of Gaitonde. The story shows the Gaitonde’s uprising as a gangster in flashback and Sartaj’s puzzle-solving to save the town simultaneously. Moreover, Sartaj encounters Khanna Guruji who is the mastermind of all this conspiracy.
However, season 2 ends with a major cliffhanger that shows how desperately Sartaj is trying to defuse the bomb after two failed attempts. So, in season 3, it will focus on how he will solve the Gaitonde’s and Dilbagh Singh’s pattern to defuse the bomb. As there is no confirmation regarding the plot, so we have to wait till the release of Sacred Games season 3 to know what will happen with Mumbai.

Undoubtedly, Saif Ali Khan as Sartaj Singh and Nawazuddin Siddique as Ganesh Gaitonde in the lead role of Sacred Games season 3. Moreover, we assume to see Ranveer Shorey, Harshita Gaur, and Kalki Koechlin in Sacred Games season 3.
Release date
There is no official announcement from Netflix regarding the new season. The immense love of audiences from all over the world will compel the creators to make a new season very soon.
