Roberto Aguirre Sacasa made the American horror supernatural web series Chilling Adventure of Sabrina for Netflix. This series is the adaptation of Chilling Adventure of Sabrina from Archie Comics.
This series started premiering for the first time on Netflix on 26th October 2018 with 10 episodes from season 1. The rest of the 9 episodes from season 1 started streaming on 5th April 2019. This series got renewal for the second season consisting of 16 episodes from Netflix in December 2018. Among them, the first 8 episodes already, had been started streaming on 24th January 2020 as the season. However, the rest of the 8 episodes will release as Chilling Adventure of Sabrina season 4.
The plot
The storyline of the series revolves around the name Sabrina Spellman who is a half-human and, on her birthday, she is going to offer herself to enter the witch’s world. Although, being a half-human, she cannot sacrifice her relationship with her boyfriend and her friends before taking this step.
In season 3 we have seen that Sabrina’s sinister real father aka dark lord of the hell, possesses the body of Sabrina’s boyfriend. Sabrina entered into hell to rescue her boyfriend. In Chilling adventure of Sabrina season 4, we will see that Sabrina will take a vow to finish all the injustice and bring new management in the Satan’s empire. Furthermore, it will portray that Sabrina will co-exist in Hell as well as in the real world.
The cast
Undoubtedly, Kiernan Shipka will portray the role of Sabrina Spellman. Rather, we will see also Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Gavin Leatherwood, etc.
Release date
Though Netflix renewed the new season in 2018, we expect a delay to release this series. Due to the worldwide outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting is postponed. So, we cannot expect to enjoy Chilling Adventure of Sabrina season 4 before 2021.
