Netflix plans for the global premiere of its new space adventure miniseries, The Signal. Meanwhile, the show’s first teaser promises to intrigue fans with a perplexing paradox. The chills return for a short run.
This time, The Signal will bring a gripping mystery-thriller mixed with sci-fi thrills in one binge-worthy format. The limited series features a script by German actor Florian David Fitz, giving another layer of mystery to this must-see show.

With its intriguing and elusive science fiction premise, the trailer of The Signal and the earlier teaser trailer integrate well to present a harmonious yet stressful portrayal for viewers.
Paula is an astronaut returning from the International Space Station, and her family is waiting to pick her up.
However, she never returns to Earth, and her whereabouts become a complicated mystery for her husband Sven & daughter Charlie to untangle.
One remaining clue left with the family is a signal, a way of communicating with Charlie, as well as information about Paula discovering “something up there,” which leads the father-daughter combo into unimaginable danger and entangling riddles, some of which may be of extraterrestrial dimensions. Now, Sven & Charlie must race against the clock to find Paula and maybe save the world.
We have great hopes for The Signal. First and foremost, it is stunning. Some of the magnificent cinematic scenes of space are captivating. We’re also quite interested in the program’s mystery and if Paula discovers aliens in space – is this “the signal” that the show is titled after?
The Signal does an excellent job of portraying the dilemma of settling for a life on Earth with the people you care about or choosing a life of exploration among the stars.

The Cast and Crew of The Singal.
Peri Baumeister plays the main character, Paula, the astronaut. Baumeister worked previously with Netflix, where she appeared in the TV series Skylines & the film Blood Red Sky.
Sven, Paula’s husband, is played by actor & filmmaker Florian David Fitz alongside Baumeister. Yuna Bennett, who plays Paula and Sven’s daughter, Charlie, rounds out the main cast. Katharina Schüttler as Nora, Hadi Khanjanpour as Hadi Hiraj, Sheeba Chaddha as Benisha Mudhi, Seumas F. Sargent as Jake Mitchell, & Katharina Thalbach as Die Moonwatcherin all appear in The Signal.
The Signal will be available exclusively on Netflix on March 7, 2024.
