High Card Season 2 Episode 5 is set to be released worldwide on Monday, February 5, 2024, at approximately 3:30 am PT. However, there will be a delay of about thirty minutes for viewers outside Japan, as English subtitles will be added. The upcoming season consists of a total of 12 episodes.

Recap Of Episode 4 Of High Card Season 2
After the main branch of Pinochle was attacked, the game High Card was stopped indefinitely, and the President went missing. Finn, wanting to find out more, went to the Old Maid branch. There, he met Norman “King” Kingstat, which made him very angry.
Later, Bernard explained that Norman and Theodore were old friends and that they, along with Ban, worked together to protect the Royal Family’s cards from being misused.
Despite their different personalities, they used to work well together. But something happened that caused Ban to leave and hold Theodore captive. Ban revealed his plan to destroy a powerful card called “The Joker” during the coronation.
He also expressed his desire to use the X-Playing cards without interference. Meanwhile, Sugar was happy to see Captain Young return from the hospital.
When she found a picture of him, Theodore, and Ban from their youth, Young admitted they had a pact concerning the mysterious X-Playing cards.
He confessed to exchanging information about the cards for details on Players, even though it went against their agreement. Nonetheless, he encouraged Sugar to investigate freely.

What To Expect From Episode 5 Of High Card Season 2?
In the upcoming episode of High Card Season 2, Episode 5, it’s expected that Ban will disrupt the Coronation ceremony by causing another terrorist attack targeting the royal family. Ban doesn’t have clear objectives except for one: he wants to destroy the powerful X-Playing card known as “The Joker.”
Since regular methods won’t work as these cards are indestructible, Ban plans to use a special card called “San Galgano,” also known as The God-Killer, which can destroy other cards.
