Only Murders in the Building Season 3 stars Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, & Martin Short. This comedy features Mabel (Gomez), Charles (Martin), and Oliver (Short), three Upper West Side apartment block neighbors who are pulled together by their passion for true crime.

In the third season of the show, the trio gets involved in yet another mystery, this time a suspected death that happened during a Broadway performance.

The wacky entertainment keeps you guessing as new truths unravel, with each episode told from the angle of a different suspect. Only Murders in the Building has an almost flawless Rotten Tomatoes score for all three seasons, making it one of Hulu‘s most popular shows.

The Bear

The Bear
GQ

The Bear is one show that Hulu can always rely on. Season 2 fulfills the promise of Season 1 with even more drama, growth, and delicious food, making the series as bingeable as ever.

More about Carmy’s (Jeremy Allen White) & Natalie’s (Abby Elliott) family history is revealed in season 2, and each character gets their episode to shine. Season 1 earned marvelous reviews and 13 Emmy nominations, while season 2, which premiered this year, received widespread recognition.

Season 2 was about the fight to build something fresh from the ground up. Now that the decisions are entirely in the hands of Syd and Carmy, the pressure is far greater.

Every character strives to balance their past and future, which is challenging. The end of the season adds to the challenge of waiting for answers to questions for season 3 of The Bear.

A Murder at the End of the World

A Murder at the End of the World
Variety

Darby Hart (Emma Corrin) is a true crime author & amateur detective in A Murder at the End of the World. Darby is a teenage hacker with a keen sense of investigation tasked with solving a crime.

The series chronicles Darby as she is invited to a distant location by a billionaire and eight other guests in a typical whodunit style. This appears to be a usual mystery, yet the series pushes the genre clichés and changes them for the current era.

Darby’s perspective as a part of Generation Z adds to the story’s charm. The series questions the power inequalities between people of different ages and social backgrounds. The Knives Out-style story sometimes runs a bit slow, but there’s enough suspense to keep you hooked.

Fargo

Fargo
FX Networks

Fargo fans waited three years for a new season, and when it did come in late 2023, it did not disappoint. The black comedic crime drama, based on the Coen brothers’ 1996 film of the same name, includes compartmentalized anthology stories each season.

Everything, however, exists in one single universe. The story takes place in North Dakota & Minnesota in the latest fifth season, where a housewife named Dorothy (Ted Lasso‘s Juno Temple) is kidnapped and set free but then claims it never happened.

A complex web is woven, involving many more characters. Critics praise Temple and Hamm’s starring performances, calling   this season a “back-to-basics caper.”

Tiny Beautiful Things

Tiny Beautiful Things
Radio Times

Tiny Beautiful Things follows Clare Kinkade (Kathryn Hahn) as she plays the character of an anonymous advice columnist. The series flips between Clare’s past and present, slowly explaining to the viewers how her life got to be what it was and the decisions that led to it.

Tiny Beautiful Things excels in making the seemingly insignificant details of life equally crucial as the shocking and spectacular ones. Hahn portrays Clare with empathy and keeps the audience invested in Clare’s issues.

Tiny Beautiful Things’ climax encapsulates the series’ themes and provides cathartic emotional payoffs for the viewers.

Furthermore, the mother-daughter parallels of Clare, her mother, & her daughter are intertwined and offer a relevant addition to the theme of parent-child struggles. The only problem with this series is that the dramatic plot with a troubled female lead has been done before.
