Pokémon Concierge Official Trailer Released By Netflix!

The release date for Pokémon Concierge, Netflix’s new animated miniseries created in conjunction with The Pokémon Company, has been announced.

The show was cloaked in secrecy until now since fans only had a small peek of it earlier this year during the Pokémon Presents presentation in February. Now that we have a release date, more information, and a new trailer are available.

Pokémon Concierge | Official Trailer

Unlike the franchise’s main anime series, Pokémon Concierge is a lighthearted slice-of-life story about a young lady who gets a job at a Pokémon resort.

The series’ new trailer, seen on Netflix’s Anime YouTube Channel, features Haru, a new concierge whose primary task is to figure out what would make her clients happy during their stay. Haru discovers more about herself and her place as she learns to speak with Pokémon.

Haru gets into all sorts of stop-motion mischief with several fan-favorite Pokémon in the teaser, including a Psyduck lurking in the bushes and causing items to levitate, a Magikarp rising from the water, and a Dragonite taking Haru on a trip over a bay.

Along with Pikachu and Psyduck, the trailer includes Mudkip, Panpour, Pansage, Bulbasaur, Dedenne,  Pansear, Pikachu, and the ever-sleepy Snorlax.

The anime appears gorgeous with the stop-motion animation, pastel colors, and beautiful character designs.

Based on the trailers and overall artwork style, it is a much more relaxing and ethereal experience than fans of the main anime series may be used to.

Dwarf Studios’ stop-motion animation will be used to tell the story. Fans will be returned to a familiar environment since the resort setting concept has already been used in Pokémon games, anime series, and 2D-animated film series.
