There’s a lot of blood, a lot of drama, a lot of heroic antics, and a lot of Mark trying to cope with the fact that his family is shattered in the Invincible Season 2 Trailer.
After a gap of two years, Amazon Prime Video‘s iconic animated superhero series Invincible returns with Season 2. The first four episodes, which will air on November 3, will continue the story after the first season’s finale. Following that, new episodes will be released weekly, with the second part of the season planned to premiere in early 2024.
‘Invincible’ Season 2 | Official Trailer
Mark Struggles to Step Out of His Father’s Shadow in the ‘Invincible’ Season 2 Trailer. In the new clip, Mark expresses his fear of becoming a person like his father without even realizing it.
The trailer offers a more in-depth look at the next chapter of the superhit Prime Video show, including Mark’s desire to get back to the fight against crime after getting beaten by his dad, Omni-Man, in the season 1 finale.
His return will be challenging, as the video glimpses him dealing with the dark legacy inherited from his father and then facing him against the multiversal evil Angstrom Levy.
While it was already known that Levy would be the season’s main enemy, it should come as thrilling confirmation that the showrunners are adapting Levy’s origin story in a comics-accurate manner.
Levy is a scientist able to open portals to parallel worlds and wants to build a gadget that would allow him to tap into the wisdom of other versions of himself.
Despite the aid of the Mauler twins from different realities, Levy’s experiment crashes when Invincible intervenes, leaving him with a severe deformity and the urge to get revenge on Mark.
With his father gone, Mark will have far more time to spend with Amber and his training to grow into a better hero. Some of the previous season’s rivals are still on the loose, while new challenges will cross Mark’s path.
